My work is centred on guiding and supporting women to live their lives with a full heart, a calm, open mind, a strong body and a well-polished soul. As women, we deserve to feel full of vitality, it is our birth right, our nature. Working together, we can design and create the life you dream of living.

I’m Kate Goodwin, The Soul Polisher. I live in the countryside in East Yorkshire in a converted barn surrounded by barn owls and fields. I am married and have two teenage children. We have two cats, ten chickens and a black Labrador called ‘Fig’.
For as long as I can remember I have always had a fascination with energy and human life force. To me this felt like one of the greatest secrets of the universe. Where did it come from, could it be transferred between one person and another, how do we generate and store it, was that possible? This curiosity led me to experience some wonderful things and meet some brilliant people, and it still does. Maximising and utilising life energy – ‘prana’ – is the heart of this work.
Since my early twenties I began learning and experiencing various forms of healing and wellbeing. I was 19 when I went on a 10-day silent meditation retreat in India. I didn’t fully understand where the pull came from, I just knew it was something I needed to go with.
My fascination with all things divine and cosmic wasn’t something that was considered ‘normal’ growing up in The New Forest in the early 90’s. Oftentimes in my life I have deviated from my path to ‘fit in’ and feel a little more acceptable. Not wanting to stand out or be seen as alternative, but each time I have come back to this path of holistic wellness. I am now in total acceptance of who I am and indeed love living from this place.
My desire is to help others see and realise their pure potential and support them to create the lives they dream of. We have so much autonomy over our health and life, my role is to guide others to that place of inner freedom and belonging.
Through my studies in Ayurveda and yoga and the different healing modalities I have trained in and experienced, I have learned to polish my soul.
It is something I like to keep on top of. Life is infinitely better when your soul isn’t dimmed and dirtied by the mud and, eventually, crust that can accumulate over time as we experience the knocks and hits that sometimes come our way. When our soul is our internal navigation system and we operate from a place of clarity, we are very in touch with what is a yes for us and what is simply a no. Boundaries can be set and maintained and we live the life we want to live, sharing it with the people we love as we move towards our dreams and aspirations.
How do I polish my soul? I love Mantra, meditation, yoga, rest, nourishing foods; a simple Ayurvedic approach to living that is aligned with nature and her rhythms and cycles. While striving to live with an open heart and mind.
It’s a simple way of living that is clutter free, a way of life where you can travel light. It’s about making room for the most significant things and being present.

The sort of health that I want my clients to aspire to is one where they can give free rein to the things that they enjoy, where understanding that stress can be something that helps you grow, and where replenishment is prioritised as much as productivity.
This means eating for nourishment, sleeping for energy, living for joy, finding purpose in work and developing loving relationships. We need to accept that over time our state of mind and bodies will fluctuate. Being healthy means being able to face life as it is, rather than as it ‘should’ be while simultaneously moving in the direction we choose.
Working together, we can create clarity in what you need to feel deeply happy within yourself and your life and how to make it happen.
